• When provenance exists, the reader overlays the attributed regions on the paper view.
• The UI distinguishes AI, human, and unknown rather than forcing every region into a binary label.
• Provenance is evidence attached to a source version and must not migrate blindly across revised files.
• Unavailable provenance leaves the paper readable and visibly unclassified.
